Lance Boyce, CFP®
Registered Principal, Cetera Advisor Networks LLC
Lance Boyce, President of Boyce Financial Group, joined the firm in 2000, working closely with its founder and mentor—his father, Ron Boyce—until Ron’s retirement in 2020. Over the years, Lance’s role has evolved from overseeing Office of Supervisory Jurisdiction (OSJ) duties across the region to focusing on client engagement, investment research, portfolio design, estate planning and the execution of financial plans.
A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, Lance earned a B.S. in Systems Engineering with a concentration in Business Management in 1993. He then served nearly eight years as a commissioned officer and AH-64A “Apache” helicopter pilot in the U.S. Army. In pursuit of his passion for financial planning, he graduated from the College of Financial Planning in Denver in 2000 and earned his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation in 2003. He holds Series 7, 66, and 24 registrations.
Beyond his professional commitments, Lance enjoys spending quality time with his fiancée, Melanie, his three sons—Cason, Reece, and Liam—and 5 granddaughters, Renley, Violet, Nala, Sage and Maile. His favorite pastimes include golfing, fly fishing, hiking, and cheering on his favorite college football teams. He is also deeply committed to giving back, supporting organizations such as the Wounded Warrior Project, Folds of Honor, and local charities.
Lance believes that while the road to financial success can be uncertain, his mission is to provide unparalleled support and guidance to help clients achieve financial independence with confidence.
